She just want to get through school
She doesn't try to wiggle her fats

Nor the Gucci bags

She's just the average girl
She's not white
She's of mixed race
She seldom goes on road trip
She's entitled to her thoughts
Cos no one really cares
She has her circle of friends
Mama told her too much friends will lead her astray
She's used to the chiffon blouses and the pleaten skirts
Dolces and Gabbanna doesn't freak her
She's not the Cinderella thats philander at night
She's the average girl
She's near perfection.

The average girl
She's always singing her own song
She follows her own tune
She has the sense of modesty
She's her own motivation.
