Even your roar would scare the bravest.
You bare your angry claws and jaws
But, I walk past you untouched.

You, like a thick forest,
Dark and blind to light,
Fought me with ghosts and ghouls
But, I walk through you unscathed.
A thousand times, you seem like a friend
And a million times, you're a fiend,
Boring your predatory eyes into my soul
But, I walk by you unharmed.

After I've cried and fought so hard,
Fought through your deceitfulness
Fought through with pain and bitterness.
I come up, a Victor.

I see you for who you really are.
You're not just another evil challenge.
You're my stepping stone. So,
I climb on you, Victorious.
