A yahoo woman known as Isaac Christiana Nkemdirim has bagged associate degree 8-months jail sentence, when being arraigned by the EFCC.


The yahoo woman who recently bagged an associate degree 8-months jail sentence pleaded guilty to the one count charge of getting by infringement contrary to Section 15(2)(a) of the money washing (Prohibition) Act, 2002 as amended and punishable below 15(3) of constant Act. The statement by EFCC reads in part;

“The Economic and monetary Crimes Commission, EFCC, Benin Zonal workplace these days, June 28, 2019, secured the conviction of Isaac Christiana Nkemdirim before Justice M.G. Umar of the Federal tribunal sitting in Benin town, Edo State.

Nkemdirim was condemned on a 1 count charge of getting by infringement contrary to Section 15(2)(a) of the money washing (Prohibition) Act, 2002 as amended and punishable below 15(3) of constant Act.

Upon her legal instrument, Nkemdirim pleaded guilty to the charge. supported her plea, the prosecution counsel, Fredrick O. Dibang prayed the court to convict and sentence the litigant consequently.

However, the defense counsel prayed the court to temper justice mercifully as his consumer was a primary time bad person and a youth UN agency has secure ne'er to travel back to the crime.

Justice M.G. Umar thenceforth condemned associate degreed sentenced the litigant to eight ( months imprisonment while not an possibility of fine.)”
