PRODUCT OF BROKEN HOMES

Here is a poem to the carefree parents
Who had given less thought to the future of their children
Who had forgotten that their bones will soon become weak
That the children they care less for will be the one to strengthen it back if proper care is given

Roaming on the street, there they are
Begging for what to eat and where to sleep
They are the product of broken homes and carefree parents
Who care less on where, when and how they are surviving

They are the sons that were brought to the world without their consent
They are the sons that were brought to the world accidentally
The light of the their life had been quenched right from birth
From the broken path their parent had chosen to trail

Now the night has arrived at the balcony of your age
Your bones are weak and the belly is empty
Crying solemnly to the riddles of hunger
Expecting him that you gave to the street to cover your shame

How will I tell you that he's the one on the television screen and on the frontage of newspaper
That is to be executed on the date announced
For the Gallon of crimes he had out of your care committed

Please read this without any forms of tears
You can if you like paint your belly with poison
For you are not the kind of father to be seen on earth
For your type of mother is there inside the grave of shame
The outcome of your scattered marriage and parental negligence has earned you nothing but a mansion of humiliation
