The All Progressives Congress says it will review petitions from some stakeholders in Kogi State in reaction to Indirect Primaries adopted for the election of the party’s candidate for the November 16, 2019 governorship poll. The ruling party said this in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu, in Abuja on Wednesday. A Kwara State judicature, sitting in Ilorin, capital of the state, has condemned 3 persons for offences bordering on net fraud. The convicts, whose names are Apata Oluwakayode, Yusuf Rasheed and Muhammed Ademola, were prosecuted by the Economic and money Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ilorin zonal workplace. They were condemned by presiding Justice Sikiru Oyinloye. EFCC representative, Tony Orilade, aforesaid this during a statement in Abuja. A head of November 16 governorship election in Kogi state, about 20 governorship aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have reportedly rejected the indirect mode of primary election. The indirect mode was recently approved for the state by the national secretariat of the party. Allegation 1.  They alleged that executives (delegates) are GYB Appointees.  Verdict  It shows that those who are aspiring to be Governor on the platform of APC does not even know the executives piloting the Affairs of the party.
