A Facebook user by name Gozicon Chigozirim  Emeakayi has come out on social media to call on the attention of Christian associations of Nigerians (CAN), for their non challant attitudes over the Reverend Father who was attacked yesterday at IBETO Junction, NNEWI of ANAMBRA state.  According to a reliable source, IPOB members attacked a REV. Fr. Yesterday at IBETO Junction because he didn't obey the "Sit at home instruction" made by Nnamdi Kanu. He is currently receiving treatment at Nnewi Teaching Hospital due to the heavily sustained injuries during the attack.  Of course we would have protested against this wickedness if it happened in places like Jos, Sokoto, Bauchi, Ibadan, Abieokuta etc. But it happened right here in the East, so no one cares because the Rev. Fr. Actually deserved the beating and assault for not obeying a law posed by bunch of street hookers and ignorant touts.  Are we still talking about taking over this country in 2023? That's act...

DUTY CALLS

Image
He's never been a war, it's a life epic All I have had to worry about so far The loss of life so far is catastrophic All I have had to give a thought, so radical Battlefield, the crawling home that dunks a coward  Where afterlife looks better than life Where soldier is killed and warrior is cured So how do I say this to my caring wife It's not my wish to see you cry It's not my decision to go, it's an order The day may seems long, distressed and dry But tomorrow's gonna decide it one way or another From the depth of my brave mind I make a promise of coming back home Even if it seems to lag behind I shall find my way back home It was not long you returned from one, wife cried Promise me you will come back, little dove sobs Does your tears guarantee your coming back? Instinct lamented But how do I say to them that it's not my wish but duty calls. ©OSA ABAMI_EDA
